EDUCATION: Graduated from Birmingham Southern College, 1972 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Masters Degree from Cumberland School of Law, Juris Doctorate degree cum laude, 1977. Was a member of Law Review. Clerked for the Alabama Supreme Court from 1977 until 1978 when the firm of Daniel, Fawal & Spina was formed which subsequently became Fawal & Spina.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Mr. Fawal is an Alabama State Bar Commissioner for the Tenth Judicial Circuit; Alabama Law Foundation Trustee; member of the Alabama State Bar Association, Disciplinary Commission, a member of the Atticus Finch Society, a sustaining member of the Birmingham Bar Association, and a member of the Birmingham Inns of Court. Mr. Fawal served as the President of the Birmingham Bar Association in 2012 and has served as a member of the Executive Counsel of the Alabama State Bar Association. Mr. Fawal is a Fellow of the Alabama Law Foundation and a Fellow of the American Law Foundation. Mr. Fawal has been named Best Lawyer and Super Lawyer.
