Davis & Gilchrist, P.C. Bryan Davis and William "Dooley" Gilchrist met in 2004 while working as associates at the Rodey Law Firm, one of the oldest and most prestigious law firms in New Mexico. They shared an affinity for litigation and trial work, whatever the field of law. Eventually Bryan began focusing on healthcare fraud and abuse cases, and Dooley began focusing on employment cases, while they both continued to handle a wide range of cases in diverse areas of law from antitrust, civil rights, personal injury, to class actions, product liability, and real estate litigation. After five years together in the litigation trenches, Bryan and Dooley decided to join forces as partners in their own firm, Davis & Gilchrist, P.C., which opened its doors in 2009. Since then, Bryan and Dooley have been taking on tough and complex cases primarily in the healthcare, employment, and legal malpractice areas. They have recovered millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for their plaintiff clients. They have successfully disposed of high-stakes claims brought against their defense clients by motion practice and at trial. They have tried numerous bench and jury trials in state and federal courts in New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, and Georgia (so far).
