Horman Nichols, LLC is an AV preeminent rated boutique firm located in historic downtown Frederick. The Firm was established in 2016 with a strong foundation of legal experience and deep roots in Frederick, Maryland.
Marshall and Andy graduated from high school and college together and both returned to Maryland to attend law school. While attending separate law schools, they both spent time working for the same law firm in Baltimore.

Upon completing judicial clerkships, they both began developing their respective legal practice areas. Marshall returned to his hometown of Frederick and clerked for the Honorable Julie S. Solt. Upon completing his clerkship, he began working as an associate with Shoemaker, Horman & Clapp, where he quickly developed a reputation as a rising talent in the legal community. Andy moved to Baltimore and began his career as a civil litigator, practicing across the entire state of Maryland and Washington, D.C. Andy has been repeatedly recognized by his peers for his legal ability and professionalism.
