DAVE O'BRIEN WORKS TO PROTECT OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS
??When Dave O'Brien graduated from law school in 1984, he decided to represent people, not corporations; he decided to pursue justice, not money.
Now, when insurance companies and government agencies engage in wrongful conduct, Dave holds them accountable. That means making them pay fair and reasonable compensation for the losses and harms inflicted on his clients - those losses and harms caused by the insurance company or government agency.
In 1994, a longtime interest in politics lead to a job in the Clinton Administration working for Robert Reich at the U.S. Department of Labor. Dave was Chair of the Administrative Review Board where his job was to fairly enforce numerous progressive labor laws including the Fair Labor Standards Act, Wage and Hour rules, anti-discrimination regulations and whistleblower protection statutes.
Dave and his wife Stacey have been married for nearly twenty-five years raising four children (who are now adults). In addition, the couple served as foster parents for a number of years. In his spare time Dave likes to spend time with family, travel, golf and cheer on his beloved Hawkeyes.
