Wendy Pelle-Beer was born in St. John's, Antigua, West Indies. She attended the Antigua Girls High School and completed her high school education at John Bown High School in Queens, New York. Ms. Pelle- Beer earned a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Print Journalism from New York University. Upon graduation, Ms. Pelle-Beer worked as a staff writer, eventually moving up to featured writer, for the National Mortgage News?an organization that provides news and featured articles on the commercial and residential mortgage industry. In 1996, Ms. Pelle-Beer obtained her Juris Doctor degree from The Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center at Touro College, in Huntington, New York.
After gaining admission to the New York Bar, Ms. Pelle-Beer went to work for a non-profit housing organization, and then for the federal government doing community affairs regulations. Ms. Pelle-Beer found her niche at the Law Office of Frederick K. Brewington, a prominent law office on Long Island, known for handling Police Brutality cases, Civil Rights, Employment Litigation and Criminal Law.
