Jim Godes and Joe Preis are veteran civil trial attorneys, with over 45 years of legal experience between them. Our firm concentrates in the areas of "business divorce" counseling and litigation (encompassing the range of issues that arise when people or groups decide not to work together anymore, including employment counseling and litigation, executive compensation advice and negotiations, competition and non-compete provisions, trade secrets, shareholder and partner rights, unfair and unlawful business practice litigation and corporate and partnership dissolutions), other general business litigation, white collar criminal defense, commercial transactions and law of armed conflict issues. We regularly represent clients in a variety of industries, including health care, technology, aviation, transportation, finance, and sports, among others.
