Harris has litigated before the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals (Akron, Ohio), the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals, the Federal District Courts in North Carolina (Eastern and Western Districts), Federal District Court in Virginia, the North Carolina Industrial Commission and the Social Security Administration. In 2004, Harris and co-counsel, obtained one of the largest medical malpractice settlements in the state of N.C. In 2009, Harris resolved what is considered to be one of the largest voluntary police liability settlement in Mecklenburg County history.
