Jones, McGlasson, & Siefers, P.C. ("JMS") traces its roots to the law office established in the early 1950s by Donald Rogers, who, after serving his country in the military and two terms as the Superior Court Judge in Monroe County, opened his own practice on the second floor of the former Workingmens Federal Bank downtown on Kirkwood Avenue. Rogers represented several banks in the area, focusing his practice mostly in real estate law, but also represented clients with probate matters, estate planning, contracts and other legal matters. He maintained a solo practice until his son, David Rogers, joined him in 1955. David Rogers continued his father's practice in Bloomington and spent time as an Indiana State Senator.
RD Jones joined the firm in 1972 and eventually purchased the practice from David Rogers. Thomas M. McGlasson joined the firm in 1993 and with the addition of Judith Benckart, the firm became Jones, McGlasson & Benckart, P.C. In 2021, the Firm took its current name, Jones, McGlasson & Siefers, P.C.
