History

Eran Soroker and Jonathan Agmon founded Soroker Agmon Nordman in Israel in 1999 with the aim of providing high quality specialist intellectual property and complex litigation services. Ady Nordman joined the firm in 2005 and heads the commercial arm of the Firm.

While the practice began as an intellectual property litigation firm it quickly expanded to provide patent, trademark and design prosecution services. With time the firm also expanded to handle other areas of intellectual property prosecution such as plant variety, copyright, licensing, and related intellectual property foreign services. The firm also expanded to provide its clients with commercial services and complex civil and cross border litigation matters. As a result of this rapid expansion the firm is now one of Israel's ten largest intellectual property law firms.

Soroker Agmon Nordman focuses on the litigation of patents, trademarks, designs and copyrights for both major local and international corporations. The firm attorneys which are recognised in more than one jurisdiction also provide complex cross border and civil litigation services. To this day the firm's clients have remained loyal while the practice has evolved around them.

Thanks to our ability to handle complex litigation our patent, trademark and design prosecution, and licensing practices have steadily grown. In recent years the firm has been active in patent litigation in Israel and in the United States. The firm has also handled multiple due diligences for intellectual property as well as transactional, M&A and licensing deals and our patent, design & trademark prosecution business has increased substantially annually.

However, our opinion is that bigger is not always better. We take pride in our ability to provide a small bespoke specialized team for each project and we are confident that our teams are the best available. While our firm has expanded since its creation we still view it as a specialized boutique which can deliver, even to the largest clients, services that can only be provided by specialized teams.

In 2016 Soroker Agmon Nordman opened a foreign legal practice in Singapore. This allows us to be on hand to help meet the needs of our clients from South East Asia and the Far East. It also helps us provide our clients from Israel, Europe and the United States with services they require in the Far East.

Singapore is one of the main gateways to Asia in general and to South East Asia in particular. Singapore has set up a unique business friendly infrastructure for foreign businesses to operate in. Singapore has also been working on positioning itself as the main Intellectual Property Hub in Asia. Our team in Singapore can help our clients to realize their intellectual property and other business aims. Currently we provide US and Israel foreign legal advice to our clients. Advice on matters relating to the laws of other countries is provided by our associates.
