The Administrative Law domain is one of the characteristics of the Egyptian legal system whereas Egypt maintains a two-jurisdiction judiciary consisting of the ordinary courts and
the administrative courts (the State?s Counsel). Unlike the case with ordinary courts, the State?s Counsel does not rely on a codified law but rather on judicial precedents, administrative custom, general principles of equity in its own context.
