David J. Robinson, Managing Partner

David J. Robinson is a 1992 graduate of the Moritz College of Law at the Ohio State University and licensed attorney in the state of Ohio. Previously Mr. Robinson served as an attorney for large Columbus, Ohio law firms, as a member of the Ohio House of Representative, economic development executive at a Fortune 100 telecommunications company, senior staff for the Mayor of the 15th largest city in America and General Counsel to the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Robinson understands how to use the law and the government to get an economic development deal done and has the highest peer review rating (5.0 out of 5.0) from the respected Martindale Hubble Legal Director.

Mr. Robinson served as Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General for the development of the Ohio Economic Development Manual and is an author of two economic development textbooks, Economic Development from the State & Local Perspective and The Energy Economy, published by Palgrave MacMillan in 2014 and 2015 respectively. He is a national lecturer on economic development topics including the production of the Ohio State Bar Association webcast Continuing Legal Education series on Ohio Economic Development Law, an adjunct professor at Bowling Green State University teaching Regional Economic Development and serves as legal counsel and a consultant to developers, companies, economic development corporations and local governments on a wide range of economic development, public finance and tax incentive matters throughout Ohio and in the United States.
