Our history began more than a century ago, at the time when important transformations were taking place in the construction of the country's identity. Nine years after the first Republican Constitution, in 1900, Carl Buschmann's firm was founded, which later merged with Eduardo Dannemann's.
WE THEN BEGAN TO MAKE HISTORY
In 1947 Peter Dirk Siemsen, a lawyer and industrial property agent, and Catharina Bigler, an industrial property agent, started working at Eduardo Dannemann's firm. Six years later, the company Dannemann Siemsen & Co. was created. In 1958, Luiz de Ipanema Moreira's firm merged with Dannemann Siemsen & Co., giving rise to Dannemann Siemsen Bigler & Ipanema Moreira. ALWAYS LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
In 2000, when the firm's centenary was celebrated, the Dannemann Siemsen Institute and the partnership Dannemann Siemsen Advogados were created. Currently, we are the largest firm in Latin America in the intellectual property area, with a strong presence in Brazil and in the five continents.
