GRUB BRUGGER has been operating nationally and internationally for more than four decades. It currently has branches in Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Munich and Freiburg. Since our foundation in 1965, we have focused consistently on insolvency, restructuring and commercial law.
Advising companies in crisis and their creditors, as well as conducting insolvency administration and cooperation with financial investors and banks have greatly shaped our company's profile. This specialised knowledge enables the firm to offer sound and economically-oriented legal advice and advocacy. It includes all aspects of commercial and company law, as well as labour and contract legislation.
The foundations of our work and success are our rapid assessment of complex issues, the provision of technically excellent legal advice, and representing our clients.
Our clientele includes renowned domestic and international companies, banks and financial investors. We represent their interests in and out of court and develop sophisticated and pragmatic solutions.
Our lawyers have acted as insolvency practitioners and remain appointed by many courts in a large number of difficult and nationally respected insolvency proceedings (such as the B?ckereikette Lang bakery chain, Armstrong DLW GmbH, Hess AG, Schiesser AG, Brocade AG, b?urer AG, Sudmilch AG, G. Bauknecht GmbH, NKD Vertriebs GmbH, Bleyle GmbH, and Traub AG). Our clients benefit from this practical experience.
In recent years, the two successful founders of the law firm, Dr Volker Grub and Ulrich Brugger, who gave the company its name, have built up a young team of nearly 40 highly qualified and specialised lawyers at the four locations. This ensures that GRUB BRUGGER remains one of the leading law firms in its field.
We solve your problems in a goal-oriented, specialised and very personal way.
Insolvency law
Insolvency law has been a special focus of the company since it was founded in 1965.
Our passion and expertise is reflected in numerous specialist publications, memberships in expert committees of the legislature, as well as through our activities in insolvency associations and working groups. We not only employ specialist lawyers, we also train them.
We advise and represent our clients in drawing up, for instance, secure contractual arrangements or in defending liability and dispute claims.
However, our insolvency law expertise is particularly focused on active insolvency administration, so that we have worked on more than 1,000 insolvency proceedings in Germany so far.
That is why the JUVE Manual of Commercial Law Firms ranks us among Germany's top insolvency law companies.
