In 1990 Ernest "Ernie" Warren, Jr., established the first African American-owned law firm in Oregon with the primary objectives of being a resource to the community, serving the common good, and steadfastly pursuing justice. Now in its 30th year, the firm can boast that it has adhered to its mission as demonstrated by the causes it has championed and the battles it has won. Ernie's drive to establish his own law practice was inspired by the words of Martin Luther King, Jr., "injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."
