?GETTING STARTED
Prospective clients typically contact our office by phone or email, arrange an initial consultation for a flat fee, and meet with an attorney for an hour or two. There is no pressure at this meeting, which serves mainly as an information-gathering session. The decision at to whether a person wishes to retain can be made at any time, but typically, folks will walk away and think about what they want to do and retain later if they decide the match is good. At the meeting, clients are welcome to ask any questions they may have regarding fees, estimated total cost, procedural issues, what they can expect by way of services from Ms. Bier, and the possible expected outcome given the facts of the case.

We welcome all inquiries for an initial consultation, which allows prospective clients to decide whether the match is a good one before retaining an attorney. During the consult, Lilan hear details of the case, and provides a legal overview as well as a projected estimate of the cost. There are often both tears and laughter at this meeting.
