Most law firms talk about being commercial, being your trusted advisor, acting professionally, delivering projects on time and being technically competent. We might do the same from time to time as these things are absolutely relevant to what we do every day, but these things should really be taken as a given. In short, we offer all the services you'd expect from a law firm, but it's how we do it that makes us distinctive.
Speaking your language
So we're a business that sells legal services but we're a business just like yours or the one you work in. We've had our ups and downs, we've grown, we've moved offices. We've been there and done that which makes us good at speaking your language ? to coin a clich?! We might call ourselves "lawyers" or "solicitors" but we're not really that different to you. We're individuals with expertise in our field and we're genuinely interested in yours.
Take that, legal jargon!
Our clients say they like that we give them what they want and need without over-complicating things; just because legal issues can be very complex doesn't mean we have to make them complicated. We like to cut through the jargon and not hide behind a strange and old fashioned language which includes weird words like "alienation" and "estoppel".
Great relationships
Our people are our strongest asset, so we build great internal relationships. We can't put our finger on it but there's certainly something about each of us which makes us "so EMW" and it's often an emotional time when - infrequent as it is - someone chooses to leave us. It raises a smile when they regret their decision and end up back here! The point is, we like to look after each other, so forming great external relationships with clients, contacts and others comes naturally to us.
