Clarke Speaks is a well-intentioned youth sports coach. He coaches kids soccer and basketball. He makes up for his limited knowledge of youth sports with great effort and enthusiasm.

Chris Bell is an unrelenting advocate for the injured. He is always over-prepared for everything. This is a great benefit in the courtroom. However, he is also an expectant father. Those of us in the office who have kids cannot help but smile as he prepares for the chaos of fatherhood. When he is not fighting for fair compensation for injured people, Chris is an avid runner and bowler.

Debbie Black is one of the most well-respected paralegals in eastern North Carolina. She is the heart of our law firm. She genuinely cares for every client we have. Debbie retired early from IBM in 1992 to raise two boys. In 2000, after completing Paralegal Studies in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Debbie and her family moved back to her home state of North Carolina. Debbie then continued her studies at Cape Fear Community College for Advanced Medical Coding and Medical Terminology. In her free time, she sings in the Wilmington Choral Society and volunteers for various local charitable organizations that are involved with tramatic brain injuries and mental illness assistance.She is a wife and the proud mother of two outstanding young men. Debbie enjoys time spent with her husband, two sons and two dogs. Debbie is a diehard 49ers fan.

Kristy Rodriguez is our office manager and client care coordinator. She works with hospitals, medical practices and other organizations to make sure we get the records we need for our injury clients. She works with clients to make sure their treatment is progressing on schedule. In addition, Kristy is a proud new mother. Also, she is our only famous team member. She is a recording artist and has performed at venues all over the eastern United States including the Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida.
