The firm is experiencing a period of growth and are hiring about 20 new people per month. Employees can benefit from an extra week off, although there is a lot of work expected of them. Although a competitive environment, the firm is focused on providing the best service for their clients in need. Pros: The insurance provided is good.
Cons: IT is extremely busy and very fast-paced. You often find yourself working through your lunch break. Taking some time off is extremely difficult. Your caseload is extremely high and you often get assigned urgent matters at the last minute. They often set up last minute meetings during your lunch break and after hours when you are trying to head home.
Partners to Avoid and Why: Yes. The Supervising Immigration Attorney can be very passive aggressive and assigns more work without checking first with the attorneys if they are able to take on more work. She assigns an insane amount of work and doesn't give you the option to say no if you feel overwhelmed. She is a huge micro-manager.
