While settlement of the outstanding issues in your case is almost always preferable, we are also confident in our ability to successfully try a divorce case. We will strategically pursue litigation, if that is the best way to achieve our client's goals or protect our client's interests. We are mindful of our obligation to the legal profession. More than simply representing our clients well, we are active members and leaders of various legal organizations, both locally and nationally. We are leaders in the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association, the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the Association of Family and Conciliation Court, the IACP, the DCACP, the Family Law Section of the District of Columbia Bar, the Maryland State Bar Association, and the Montgomery County Bar Association. Our lawyers are frequent lecturers both nationally and locally, including teaching trial advocacy to other family law attorneys.
