Greg Herring is a veteran trial attorney of a wide variety of state and federal courts throughout California and other jurisdictions. He is a statewide leader in family law who was named the AAML Southern California Chapter's "Family Law Person of the Year." He is the region's only Fellow of both the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (aaml.org) and the International Academy of Family Lawyers (iafl.com). His experience in, and commitment and service to, family law are unparalleled in "the 805."

Greg's extensive background in corporate litigation uniquely qualifies HLG to handle business and professional practice matters in the family law environment. He routinely guides complex valuation, goodwill, property characterization, shareholder rights, "family enterprise" and income disputes. His experience in custody, parenting and domestic violence litigation routinely includes hearings, trials and other work with the nation's premier experts.

Ruston Imming joins Greg as a Certified Specialist in Family Law (certified by the State Bar's Board of Legal Specialization). He is a seasoned force with a combination of intellect, common sense, drive and presence.

Cassandra Glanville, a UCSB undergraduate who attended UC Hastings College of the Law, is deservedly a Super Lawyers "Rising Star."

Morgan Nix is a former reporter for the Santa Barbara News-Press. She clerked for Santa Barbara Superior Court Judge Brian Hill prior to coming to HLG.

Taylor Fuller is a Lompoc/Santa Barbara local. She worked for the Office of the District Attorney of San Luis Obispo County, then returned to Santa Barbara County for law school and family law practice.

Executive Director, Erin Schaden, is a family law lawyer who is licensed in multiple states. She does not practice in California, but instead drives our elite client service, ensuring prompt, focused and caring interactions. Unique to HLG, Erin provides "divorce coaching" for our clients wishing a holistic approach. Erin is credentialed as a Certified Divorce Coach?.
