Hershenson, Carter, Scott and McGee, P.C. is one of the oldest Vermont law firms in the Upper Valley of the Connecticut River.

Notable among them is the QL Resorts Limited Partnership, the developer of the Quechee Lakes second-home resort, the first real estate development to achieve approval under Vermont's Act 250. The founding firm partner served as Vermont counsel for the original developer. The firm has continued to serve as counsel to successive developers of the resort ever since, and Quechee Lakes is now the largest second-home resort development in New England.
