Brendon Barton started Barton Legal Group after spending ten years as an attorney in Southern California at one of the world's largest international law firms, Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP.
Mr. Barton has represented a number of Fortune 100 and 500 companies. He has represented large lending institutions, aerospace companies,and one of the nation's largest home builders. He handles civil disputes and litigation, including business disputes, real estate, contract disputes,business torts, lending, construction and fraud claims, fiduciary duty claims,creditor's rights, receiverships, unfair competition, product liability,and other civil matters. Mr. Barton has also defended against product liability and personal injury claims.
During law school, Mr. Barton worked as a judicial intern for the Hon. Michael W. McConnell in the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. He also served on the Utah Law Review as Staff Editor, was a semifinalist in the Moot Court competition, and graduated near the top of his class.
Barton Legal Group brings Mr. Barton's big-firm experience to a boutique law firm, representing large and small businesses, including start-up companies, as well as individuals.

Obtained an unanimous verdict in favor of his client following a two-week jury trial regarding a contract dispute over the construction of new state courthouse in California.
Successfully argued and defended an appeal on behalf of one of nation's largest homebuilders against fraud claims after obtaining summary judgment from the trial court. Weiner v. Centex Homes, 2015 WL 4608126 (Cal App. 4th Dist. Aug. 3, 2015).
Obtained transfer to Kentucky of a lawsuit filed in California against call center company on grounds the State of California lacked personal jurisdiction. Calltek, Inc. v. Call Center Systems, LLC, 2018 WL 2264205 (C.D. Cal Apr. 25, 2018).
Obtained a arbitration decision in favor of one of the nation's largest homebuilders after an arbitration hearing in a contract dispute with the home purchaser.
Prepared an appellate belief on behalf of a large lender resulting in affirmance of trial court's dismissal of action brought by a borrower asserting claims for fraud, unfair competition, and wrongful foreclosure. Vissuet v. Bank of America N.A., 2014 WL 2770721 (Cal App. 4th Dist. June 19, 2014).
Obtained favorable resolutions in favor of a large homebuilder in class-section and mass action lawsuits involving claims for securities, violation, fraud, and breach of contract.
Obtained a favorable resolution of a lawsuit involving a commercial lease dispute for a large, international technology company.
Obtained favorable resolution of products and premises liability claim lawsuits, including matters concerning incidents at airports throughout the territorial United States.
Obtained dozen of receivers for commercial lenders for large commercial properties valued in the tens of million of dollars.
Represented large lenders and another financial institutions in proceedings before state and federal courts, including bankruptcy court.
