Michael S. Reeser was born in Marietta, Georgia and was raised in Vero Beach, Florida. Mike graduated from Vero Beach High School, and then attended college at Stetson University in Deland Florida. He attended law school at Stetson College of Law in Gulfport, Florida. Mr. Reeser has been practicing law in the Tampa Bay area for over 30 years, maintaining his focus on aggressively representing individuals and families at critical times in their lives.
Professionally, Mike is a member of the Florida Bar Association (Trial Lawyers Section), The Florida Justice Association, the Clearwater Bar Association (Pro Bono Panel), the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, and is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts. He recently served as the chairperson of The Florida Bar Association Grievance Committee 6A. Mike has been certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit Civil Mediator since 2005. He is rated "AV" (highest possible rating for professional ethics and legal ability) by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, and was recently included in the list of "Tampa Bay's Top Lawyers" by Tampa Bay Magazine. Mr. Reeser also holds a U.S. Merchant Marine Officer License (OUPV) from the United States Coast Guard.
Mike enjoys outdoor activities including boating, fishing, hanging out with his dogs, travel and building custom fishing rods. He resides in Tarpon Springs with his wife, Margaret, and their two children.
