Mr. Binhak has also argued numerous cases before the United States Courts of Appeals, and he has represented clients before the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Binhak has also conducted numerous internal investigations for companies and institutions of all sizes.

This litigation includes financial and business disputes, real estate and construction litigation, health care litigation, whistleblower and qui tam litigation, entertainment litigation, employment litigation, and litigation against the United States (including tax, immigration, and forfeiture matters).
In his criminal practice, Mr. Binhak regularly defends individuals and companies accused of white collar crimes in federal and state courts. In particular, Mr. Binhak has defended cases involving tax evasion, mortgage fraud, securities fraud, health care fraud, bank fraud, money laundering, public corruption, false statements to federal officers, bankruptcy fraud, illegal arms importation and export, copyright offenses, the foreign corrupt practices act, and environmental crimes.
Before establishing his own law firm, Mr. Binhak was a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig, P.A.'s Miami Office where he concentrated on criminal and regulatory defense, complex civil litigation, and internal investigations. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Mr. Binhak supervised litigation and served as corporate counsel for Toll Brothers, Inc., a publicly traded national home builder.
Mr. Binhak also served as a federal prosecutor for 7 years in Miami, New York City, and Washington, D.C. During this period, Mr. Binhak also served as an Associate Independent Counsel in the investigation of matters related to Whitewater and President Clinton.
Prior to working for the United States Department of Justice, Mr. Binhak served as a law clerk to the Hon. J. William Ditter, Jr., in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Binhak graduated cum laude in 1990 from the University of Pennsylvania Law School where he served as the Articles Editor of the Law Review. Mr. Binhak graduated from Cornell University in 1987 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Labor Relations.
