He is also well respected in the legal community for his dedication to seeking equal justice for indigent defendants by donating his time for over 15 years as Chair from 2013-2015 of the Criminal Justice Act Board in the Federal District Court, the Boston area Bar Advocate program, and now as a member of the Criminal Justice Act Board in the Federal District Court.
