The Buzbee Law Firm is not your run-of-the-mill law firm. We don't advertise for cases and then refer them to other lawyers. We don't take cases with the intention of immediately contacting the insurance company to obtain a quick settlement. We don't just pretend to be courtroom lawyers like so many lawyers do--we are the epitome of courtroom lawyers. We don't talk a big game, but then, when things get tough, bail out or hope for a settlement for pennies on the dollar. At the Buzbee Law Firm we try cases.

Our track record at trial is a point of pride with us. Our firm gets hundreds of new case calls every week. Each is evaluated to determine if it is the type of case in which we want to be involved. If we don't believe in the merits of a case, we don't take it. In fact, we typically refuse 99% of the cases for which we are contacted. However, once we take a case, we put our substantial resources behind it.

Every case we take is prepared aggressively as if it will be tried to a verdict, in front of a jury. Opposing lawyers know we will not hesitate to try a case to verdict, most often with extraordinary results. Opponents know that if we are in the case, the case is serious, and they are going to have a fight on their hands.

We realize that legal disputes don't just happen in Texas. We are often hired by firms and individuals outside of Texas to assist in high-profile, high-stakes cases. No matter where your dispute arises, we are able to assist.

At our firm, we particularly enjoy representing working people, small businesses, the disadvantaged, and the underdogs. We believe that the courtroom is one of the few places left in our society where the powerless can face the powerful, with a level playing field. We also believe that children are our most precious resource, and are proud of the work we have done to protect them.

Finally, we are particularly proud of those cases that have resulted in changes to corporate business practices that are intended to improve safety, or make our communities better. While we primarily represent individuals, we will on occasion represent corporate interests--if the cause is right, and if the price is right. Indeed, companies often seek our services after seeing how we work, and the results we achieve. And, although we do frequently represent companies, we have never represented an insurance company, and never will.
