The firm has historically devoted a significant amount of time to obtaining relief for Texas death row inmates.

Notably, the firm successfully represented Governor Rick Perry from April 2014 to February 2016 and obtained a dismissal of all charges from his indictment. The firm also recently sued the University of Texas at Austin regarding its flawed Title IX disciplinary procedures, eventually leading to the exoneration of the clients on whose behalf we sued. The firm also continues to represent judges, lawyers, and other public officials in criminal matters, including matters before the newly formed Public Integrity Unit.
