About Scherer Smith & Kenny LLP
Scherer Smith & Kenny LLP began with an idea in 1993. Bill Scherer left the large law firms he worked for to found his own firm. He wanted to offer clients something he felt was missing at large law firms: a true partnership with their attorney. These values are shared by partners Brandon Smith and Denis Kenny.
You see our mission in every matter we handle: we value collaboration; we operate as an integrated team, and we earn our clients' trust while achieving their objectives. We are accessible, pragmatic, and honest. We clearly outline options and work to those expectations. We strive to avoid litigation and disputes, but when disputes arise we provide inspired advocacy.
We practice business, corporate and nonprofit, intellectual property, employment, real estate and homeowners' association law, handle mergers and acquisitions, set up and manage estates and trusts, and prosecute and defend clients in commercial, employment, and personal injury litigation.
