Michael Foreman started Foreman Law PLLC in 2014 as a New York-based boutique corporate law firm specializing in representing companies, their creditors and other stakeholders in times of significant corporate turbulence, transition and challenge. Michael Foreman is a restructuring lawyer, with considerable experience and expertise in financial restructuring and corporate bankruptcy, transactions - mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and major contracts - corporate governance issues and dispute resolution. Michael often is engaged as general or internal special counsel to companies in the midst of a financial or operational restructuring, specializing in multi-national companies navigating through multiple jurisdictions with competing laws (including restructuring methodologies), cultures and practices. He also serves as board, conflict, Chapter 15 and special restructuring counsel, or as a fiduciary, to companies or their investors, creditors and other stakeholders He also has extensive experience in the C-suite and boardroom, across the negotiation table and in court, as transactional lawyer and restructuring litigator. He has worked across a number of industries and with all types of companies - healthy and distressed; middle market and large; local, regional, national and international; public and privately-held.
