MichaelCabral is a native of Massachusetts. He attended Providence College where he graduated magna cum laudeand focused his studies in the fields of history and political science. After graduation, Michaelattended New England Law|Boston, graduatingcum laude. While in law school he was an Executive Editor for the New England Journal of Civil and Criminal Confinement,and a founding board member of the Real Property, Probate & Trust Organization. After serving as a judicial law clerk in the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court and working as an associate at Kopelman and Paige, P.C. in the area of municipal law, Michael established his own law firmin Boston. Michael and Attorney Richard Gelerman then formed Gelerman and Cabral, LLC to better serve their clients. Michael focuses his practice on real estate law, business solutions, litigation, estate planning and probate matters. Michael has successfully represented his clients before the following Massachusetts courts and administrative agencies: AppealsCourt, District Court, Superior Court, Land Court, Probate and Family Court, Housing Court and the State Building Code Board of Appeals.Michael has been appointed by courts to serve as a Receiver in order to oversee the remediation of building, sanitaryand fire code violations at neglected properties.Michael is admitted to practice law in the state courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and in the United States Federal District Courtsof Massachusetts.
