Northwind IP Law discontinued its law practice on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020. The owner, Stephen C. Jensen, now practices intellectual property law from the firm of Davis & Kuelthau, S.C.

Northwind and its attorneys, including Stephen C. Jensen, Thomas J. Connelly, Thomas D. Wilhelm, and others, served a multitude of clients and created thousands of legal files for those clients over its many years of existence. The legal files may include paper files including physical documents or things, electronic files including electronic documents, or both. Most files relate to patent matters, trademark matters, copyright matters, or other intellectual property matters.

We have expended considerable time and energy contacting clients so that their legal files can be transferred to counsel of their choice, or returned to them, or securely destroyed according to their wishes, and hundreds or thousands of such files have already been successfully processed. But thousands more still exist, and our resources are finite. We cannot contact all of these clients, or determine if they still exist or if they have successors, beneficiaries, heirs, etc.
