Our firm and staff have longstanding tradition of community involvement in order to promote outreach and education in the areas of civil rights and the positive evolution of our immigration laws and system. We proudly participate and partner with many nonprofit organizations, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the Mexican Consulate in Albuquerque, the Immigration Section of the NM Bar, and the University of New Mexico School of Law (UNMSOL). Since 2009, Rebecca Kitson has taught courses in Immigration Law at UNMSOL in support of educating future attorneys. To that same end, she has committed herself to consistently presenting at the state and national level to educate attorneys and the public. Likewise, Roxie Rawls-De Santiago teaches as an adjunct professor at the UNMSOL, presents widely, and advises state and local institutions.
