Firm History
In 1982, Jim Kirk and Jim Chaney left a large firm and established the firm of Kirk & Chaney with four associates. The founding partners believed then and now that a smaller, more efficient firm could provide superior legal services to its clients.

In the thirty years since the formation of Kirk & Chaney, the firm has handled banking litigation, officers' and directors' liability, anti-trust and securities litigation, contract cases, family law litigation, employment law matters, nursing home defense, and litigation in every phase of the oil and gas industry.
