The Beginning Of Our Illinois Law Firm

Our firm was originally founded in 1981 by Daniel and Mitchell Weisz in Woodstock, Illinois. The firm grew steadily and by 2003, Weisz & Michling was one of the largest firms in McHenry County with 16 attorneys providing counsel and representation in a wide variety of practice areas. In November of that same year, our firm split and the core of the firm remained in Woodstock and was renamed Weisz Botto Gilbert. Following the passing of Daniel Weisz and then the retirement of Mitchell Weisz, in 2005 and 2006 respectively, Francisco Botto became the managing partner in May 2006.

In recent years, our firm has seen significant growth, and in 2013 we moved our office into a new building we purchased at 970 McHenry Avenue in Crystal Lake. The new location has allowed us to expand our practice and provide greater accessibility to clients throughout McHenry County.
