Deep Roots In The Community

The firm was founded by the late Curtis Darling, who practiced law for 56 years in Bakersfield after serving as a lieutenant commander in the Navy in World War II. As both an attorney and a certified public accountant (CPA), Mr. Darling practiced primarily as a tax attorney. In addition to building a respected and successful law firm, he left a timeless legacy from his philanthropy throughout Bakersfield and Kern County.

After departing another law firm in 2004, Joshua Wilson formed a partnership with Curtis Darling as Darling & Wilson, PC. They practiced together until Mr. Darling retired and passed the reins. With the addition of several other attorneys, the practice has grown, and today, the team encompasses 65 years of collective legal experience. Our firm serves residents of the San Joaquin Central Valley, continuing to provide the quality law services that our clients came to expect nearly seven decades ago.
