In 1946, when the Main Street Bridge was a wooden structure and Atlantic Avenue was only two lanes, Roy Kinsey, Aubrey Vincent and Frank Pyle opened the law firm of Kinsey, Vincent, Pyle. Two years after KVP was formed, NASCAR was established and the partners were proud to be retained by Bill France, Sr., the beginning of what would develop into a business relationship lasting more than 70 years.
When KVP was established, its primary focus was real estate, but practice areas quickly expanded as business relationships grew. One of the firm's notable cases involved a successful multi-million dollar lawsuit that lasted 13 consecutive months in trial and at the time was reported as the longest continuous trial in U.S. legal history.
In 1986, the firm outgrew its original location and built a three-story office building in the heart of Downtown Daytona Beach where the firm still resides today.
KVP is currently comprised of five attorneys. In addition to transactional and litigation services, KVP attorneys serve as mediators, arbitrators and attorneys' fees experts.
The firm's attorneys serve and continue to serve on local, state, and national bar committees. Our dedication to community service reflects the varied interests of our attorneys and staff who support, counsel and lead numerous non-profit organizations.
