The Firm continues the tradition of legal excellence and service that began with the law practice of R. O. Everett (1878-1971) and Kathrine R. Ed Gaskins began his practice with the firm of Governor Terry Sanford, and Gerry Hancock practiced with the firm of Judge and Duke Law School professor Robinson Everett (1928-2009). Ed and Gerry have practiced together for over 20 years, dating back to the formation of Everett, Gaskins, Hancock & Stevens, LLP in 1990.
