Board Certification in Estate Planning
At Jordan Monk Reber, PC, our partners are among select lawyers serving Dallas, Collin and Denton Counties, most of whom are Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. While Board Certification in Estate Planning and Probate indicates that at least 25% of the lawyer's caseload is devoted to estate planning practice, our firm's practice focuses almost entirely on estate planning and probate issues.

Staying at the Forefront of Ever Change Estate and Tax Law
To maintain Board Certification, a lawyer must apply for re-certification every five years, which includes meeting standards of peer review by lawyers and judges as well as adherence to continuing legal education requirements in estate planning. Our firm strongly believes that considerable legal education is necessary in order to stay abreast of the constant changes in estate and tax law. The Texas State Bar requires fifteen hours of formal education annually to remain a licensed attorney, however, each of our attorneys typically logs education hours substantially in excess of the required minimum in the areas of estate planning, probate and tax.
