Sylvia M. Montan is the Managing Partner of the Law Office of Sylvia M. Montan PLLC in New York City. She possesses 20 years of experience practicing in the areas of immigration law, naturalization and consular practice. She manages immigration matters for Fortune 500 corporate clients, not-for-profit organizations, and individuals. Clients include major companies and individuals in various fields including investment banking and financial services, legal, information technology, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, aerospace, health, education, architecture and performance artists and musicians. Ms. Montan is a graduate of Fordham University's Fordham College and Syracuse University's College of Law, where she was Editor to the Journal of International Law and Commerce. She is admitted to practice in New York and the U.S. Supreme Court and is a member of the New York State Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She has served on the AILA New York Chapter's Corporate Practice, CLE, US Immigration and Citizenship's District Director Liaison and Social Committees, including Co-Chair responsibilities. She was member of the 18th Annual NY Chapter Immigration Law Symposium and served as Chair, Business Track, Conference Program Committee.​
