The Firm has an active Philanthropy Committee who seek, evaluate and approve requests for financial donations. Each year since the Firm was started, we have dedicated approximately 1% of our annual revenue to these direct financial donations. The Firm also tries to achieve its philanthropic goals by building continuing relationships with community-oriented not-for-profit organizations through volunteer work and actively encouraging our employees to participate in days-of-service organized by the Firm. The Firm matches each employee's personal financial donations to educational, religious, artistic, social, civic and other not-for-profit organizations, dollar-for-dollar up to 2% of the employee's compensation in the applicable year. Within this program, the Firm also "matches" each employee's donation of time to not-for-profit and civic organizations, by making financial donations based on hours volunteered by the employee.
