Edward M. Allen is a director and shareholder of the firm and is its current president. He concentrates his practice on construction law, as well as commercial and general civil litigation defense. After clerking, Ed began representing individuals and companies in a wide variety of matters, including construction defects, HOA defense, premise liability, municipal liability, and products liability. Although he remains active in several of these practice areas, he now places a greater emphasis on commercial disputes, professional liability and construction litigation. Ed has considerable trial and alternative dispute resolution experience and has served as a panel arbitrator in several insurance-related matters. In the construction arena, he has represented owners, general contractors, sureties, subcontractors, material suppliers and other vendors in a wide variety of matters. Ed has authored and co-authored construction law articles, and has presented seminars on personal and commercial general liability claims. Ed is rated AV? Preeminent? by Martindale-Hubbell and was selected for inclusion in Colorado Super Lawyers Magazine as a "Super Lawyer" in Construction Litigation from 2016 to 2019.
