In 2019, after thirty years of legal practice in Boston, Michael Chinitz opened Chinitz Law LLC. Mike began his career at Nutter McClennen & Fish, a large Boston firm, after which he worked as a named partner at Rose, Chinitz & Rose, a prominent Boston litigation boutique. In 2021, Elizabeth Inglis joined Chinitz Law LLC after ten years of practice in the Boston offices of two leading law firms - first at Dechert LLP and then at Cooley LLP. Mike and Elizabeth strive to offer practical advice and representation, close personal attention, and cost-effective outcomes to executives and businesses regarding their employment law and employment and business litigation needs. In addition to counseling businesses on a wide range of employment law compliance issues and their other practice areas, Mike and Elizabeth represent executives in both public and private companies on a wide range of matters relating to their transitions between companies in both amicable and contentious scenarios. Mike and Elizabeth strive to maximize all of their executive clients' potential remuneration, whether through severance pay, bonuses, commissions, "carried interest," stock options, restricted stock units, or other forms of equity. They advise executives regarding their post-employment restrictions, non-disclosure, trade secret and fiduciary obligations, and seek to help avoid the many risks that are often present in today's highly mobile workforce environment.
