Litigation Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney for its Los Angeles, California office.

Job Overview:

The Litigation Attorney will be responsible for managing cases from inception to resolution, developing strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients, and advocating on behalf of clients in various legal proceedings. This role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and writing skills, along with 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense and business litigation.

Duties:

• Manage cases from inception to resolution.
• Compile and maintain case files in accordance with court requirements.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Develop strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Act as an advocate for clients in legal proceedings.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
• 5+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience handling matters from inception to resolution.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and writing skills.
• Familiarity with insurance defense and business litigation preferred.

Certifications:

Admission to the California State Bar.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
