Job Overview:
A reputable law firm located in South Tampa, FL, is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for litigation, strong research and writing skills, and a desire to help clients navigate the legal system.

Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including motion hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Draft legal pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues
• Engage in pre-trial and trial preparation, including case strategy development
• Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients, ensuring clarity and understanding throughout the litigation process
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to ensure seamless case management and execution
• Attend court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations as required
• Maintain effective communication with clients and colleagues regarding case updates and developments

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience, with a proven track record in managing cases from inception to resolution
• Strong experience in drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and handling motion hearings and depositions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong research skills and the ability to analyze complex legal issues

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Florida Bar (Required)
