Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in Long Island, New York. Duties:

• Manage all aspects of litigation, including legal research, case strategy, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.

• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and depositions.

• Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies.

• Handle client communications and provide legal counsel throughout the litigation process.

• Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.

• Strong analytical, legal research, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Ability to effectively manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active license to practice law in the state of New York.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (mandatory).

Skills:
