Job Overview:
A well-established family law firm based in the Pacific Northwest is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join its growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely with a focus on litigating family law cases in Eastern Washington, where remote appearances and electronic filings are allowed. Location:

  • Richland, WA

Duties:

  • Litigate family law cases, including divorce, custody, and child support matters.
  • Bill and collect at least 1500 hours annually.
  • Track and report billable hours accurately.
  • Work independently with strong professional judgment, supported by the firm’s resources.
  • Collaborate with paralegals, case management, and technology support to maximize billable work.
  • Provide high-quality legal counsel and representation to clients.
  • Maintain high client satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.

Requirements:

  • Licensed in Washington and in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA).
  • Minimum of 2 years of family law litigation experience.
  • Proven history of billing 1500+ hours per year.
  • Strong understanding of family law and litigation procedures.
  • Ability to manage caseload independently with minimal supervision.
  • Business-minded with a disciplined approach to law as both a profession and a business.
  • Results-driven, accountable, and productive.
  • Spanish-speaking skills are a plus but not required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Washington State Bar license.

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong litigation and courtroom experience.
  • High organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and productivity skills to meet billable hour targets.
