A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Investment Funds Associate Attorney in San Francisco, CA.

Job Overview: The Mid-Level Investment Funds Associate Attorney will provide legal advice and support related to domestic and international private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Job Duties:

  • Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce high-quality legal documents, correspondence, and deliverables.
  • Manage and respond to client inquiries and correspondence promptly.
  • Meet deadlines and perform assigned duties efficiently.
  • Foster positive relationships within the firm and with clients.
  • Adhere to firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities as required by the job.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in investment funds, private equity, or related fields.
  • Experience with investments in, or the formation of, domestic and international private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds.
  • Preferred experience with secondary transactions, structuring separately managed accounts, and structuring carry vehicles.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Good business judgment and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Research, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Ability to influence and persuade others effectively.
  • Management skills to handle projects effectively.

Education and Certifications:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in California (CA).
