Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed factual investigations and comprehensive legal research
• Draft, review, and respond to discovery requests
• Prepare for and conduct depositions
• Draft persuasive memoranda, pleadings, and legal briefs
• Present compelling oral arguments in court
• Assist with negotiations, mediations, trial preparation, and appeals
• Collaborate with shareholders, senior associates, paralegals, and other staff to ensure effective case management
• Manage client expectations and advocate for their best interests
• Participate in professional networking to enhance the firm's visibility and reputation

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of litigation experience, ideally in trust and estate law
• Proven ability to handle cases from inception to resolution
• In-depth knowledge of legal research, case law, and litigation strategies
• Ability to maintain and build strong client relationships with clarity and compassion
• Excellent analytical, writing, and oral communication skills

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership and in good standing with the State Bar of California
