Job Overview: A prominent law firm in Nashville, TN, seeks an experienced Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney with a minimum of five years of litigation experience. This role involves working within a dedicated Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group, handling complex insurance coverage disputes across various types of commercial insurance. Ideal candidates will demonstrate extensive knowledge in all phases of litigation, client relations, and comprehensive insurance policy analysis.

Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research and analytical assessments for litigation cases.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other essential legal documentation.
• Represent clients in court, at depositions, mediations, and arbitration sessions.
• Manage and prioritize a diverse range of cases and assignments.
• Collaborate closely with partners on sophisticated litigation cases.
• Effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, judges, mediators, arbitrators, and other involved parties.
• Participate actively in strategy discussions and comprehensive case planning.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school with a strong academic track record.
• Admittance to the Tennessee State Bar.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation.
• Proven ability to interact directly with attorneys and clients.
• Demonstrated experience in handling all stages of complex commercial litigation.

Education

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Tennessee.
