A well-established legal practice in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a seasoned attorney with substantial experience in both the litigation and pre-litigation stages of personal injury matters. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a team dedicated to pursuing justice on behalf of individuals harmed by negligence. The successful candidate will guide cases from initial intake through resolution, utilizing strong legal strategy, communication, and advocacy to achieve optimal client outcomes.

Duties

• Directly manage a diverse docket of personal injury claims, from pre-suit phases through trial or settlement

• Conduct in-depth case evaluations and strategize for optimal resolution outcomes

• Draft and review legal documents including complaints, motions, and discovery responses

• Handle all litigation procedures including depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials

• Communicate and coordinate with opposing counsel, medical providers, and expert witnesses

• Lead negotiations for pre-suit settlements and advocate during litigation phases

• Maintain regular and professional contact with clients to provide updates and legal counsel

• Collaborate with internal legal teams and support staff to ensure timely case progression

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of recent experience handling personal injury cases in both pre-litigation and litigation stages

• Demonstrated trial experience with the ability to manage high-value claims

• Exceptional legal writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills

• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to client-centered representation

• Capability to manage a high caseload independently and efficiently

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
